An integrated Linkage Analysis Study between current Student Education Satisfaction Survey, Core Competency Diagnosis, and College Life Adaptation Diagnosis to improve the Quality and Result of University Education: Focusing on the Case of University D

ABSTRACT

This study aims to derive relevance through the analysis of differences in related variables according to the educational satisfaction of current students, analyze the influence of major factors influencing the educational satisfaction of current students, and generate basic data for improving the quality of education and performance management using the analysis results. Research results are as follows. First, as a result of descriptive statistical analysis of each measurement variable of student education satisfaction survey, core competency diagnosis, and university life adaptation diagnosis, the highest average value was found to be core competency diagnosis. Second, the differences among the related variables according to ‘high’, ‘middle’, and ‘low’ levels of student education satisfaction were found to be statistically significant. Third, results of examining the correlations among current student education satisfaction and related major factors were derived. Fourth, in order to examine the influence of major variables directly and indirectly related to current student education satisfaction, ‘university loyalty’ was selected as a dependent variable. Fifth, as a result of deriving continuous-improvement factors, continuous maintenance, gradual improvement, and focus improvement areas were derived.
