A study on the WangYangming(王陽明) s Educational Thougt.

ABSTRACT

The ultimate goal of this paper is to investigate the characteristic of WangYangming (王陽明) s educational thought in school education as well as its modern meaning by way of comparison with the Humanistic Education which is one of the most impressive modern educational theories. When we are trying to find the educational gole and methodology, in spite of various difference along a limit of time and space, I think that there are actually many areas in which both WangYangming(王陽明) s educational thought and the Humanistic Education are in agreement. For example, the Humanistic Education pursues self-actualization and desirable human relations by takes aim at affective education as well cognitive learning. And educational method of WangYangming cultivates freely human emotion, persues reason practice of personal relations through understanding of liangzhi(良知), futhermore, chases harmonize of human and nature. This means that Human Education and Yangming Learning(陽明學) are commonly watching moral-self of human to the subject of value realization and truth discovery. As such, I believe what illuminate Yangming Learning(陽明學) in viewpoint of Humanistic Education will be helpful for deep understand human and  research of a world view. In addition, It will be made relevant to us in our solution of modern education s urgent problem.
