View of an ideal human in Korea new religion-attaching importance to Jeung-San thoughts-

ABSTRACT

The new religion in modern time of Korea have been developed in several directions during almost 100 years. Tracing back to their origins, they are considered to be formated in primary concepts and thoughts of many religions emerged from the latter period of time in Cho-Sun Dynasty that had been fallen into utter confusion. Their religious background would be deeply related with the strong critical view of their leaders on ruling ideology in society at its time. Furthermore, There had been raising a large range of the necessity of the changes for the establishment of an ideal society. Under the desire about the building up an ideal, it is very important to bring on the new concept of human being on the basis of the fundamental idea on the dignity of human nature on the purpose of offering the model of knowledge and thoughts about human being. The religious assertion on the ideal concepts about human and society eventually provided people with the significant life force due to the intense ardent toward a religious ideal.
