ABSTRACT
Toekye and Yulgok s mind training is success to Juja s Learning theory as together with Knowledge and conduct. The study of knowledge and conduct is advanced side by side and is not able to separate. So that is explained by GeoGyong(居敬), GungLi(窮理), and Yokhang(力行). First, GeoKyong(居敬) is concentrating the mind and has the spiritual state. The next, GungLi(窮理) is studying of the laws of nature. The last, Yokhang(力行) is attend to practice. Also they have a general name, Kyong(敬). The learning of Kyong is same as Songji(誠之). Songji is explained by Teagseongojib(擇善固執). Teagseongojib is told by erudition, deep question, deep think, and clear inquiry(judgment). But Toekye and Yulgok s YiKi theory is different from each other. Toekye emphasizes the respecting of Cheonmyong(天命). But Yulgok emphasizes the correcting one s shortcomings. That is to say, Toekye is concerned about the training human nature. On the other hand Yulgok is concerned about correcting the temperament.
