A study for setting the direction of Religion of education

ABSTRACT

In recent years there has been renewal of educational interest in religion. Actually, it is not educational interest in religion, but interest in the religious aspects in educational phenomena. It is good evidence to show that the subjects of the educational researches have been broadened and the active researches on that have been made by scholars. To argue the religious aspects in educational phenomena, new field for discourses will be needed, because the organization of disciplines is continuously changing and creating to prepare the fields for the exploration of new subjects. This paper suggests a necessity on Religion of education for discussing the relationship between religion and education. Religion of education will throw new light on the educational interest on religion, by identifying the domain of discourses and verifying the prerequisites of inquiry.It will need some careful attention to propose new domain of inquiry, but the study may have something to offer to any investigator, in formal education or outside of it, who seeks perspective of religion in his own educational researches.
