Religious Education of Won-Buddhism and The 7th National Curriculum System

ABSTRACT

In the 7th National curriculum, religious subject in high school is one of the selective curriculums. Religious subject is desirable, never theless , it is not agreed.Because the unit school is operated by the specific religious organization and the selection of its curriculum system is not wide.The educational idea of won-Buddhion is well reflected on it s motivation of foundation by the founder, So Tae San. The secondary educational bodies are 11 by 5 corporate bodies.These religious educational bodies of Won-Buddhism are prepared for practising the 7th National curriculum system. The matter is not in form but in contents.The educational idea of Won Buddhism is beyond its religious boundary and must suggest culture and morality in that education is the way of development and construction of cultural society of the mankind.
