The study of educational theory in Chondokyo

ABSTRACT

The educational theory of Chondokyo which succeeded to Tonghak was stated practically in the colonial period with the independence movement . Kim, hyung-Jun want to over come materialism and spiritualism, objectivism and subjectivism of modern philosophy . And he want to clarify the Chondokyo's thought at that time he was not complied but also criticized the relativism of Dhilthy. He nagated not only the view of human as objective existence but also as subjective existence. Human is Self of God and per sues to uniting God. This is meaning of life and of education. Also Kim, Ki- Jeon represented by metaphor that constitution ofhuman being is under architecture. That is to say, human oneself makes the own blueprint and criticize the present history for the sake of formation of it. Human make himself with being absorbed in Inneachonism(人乃天). In Inneachonism "man is God" means the unity of whole and section. From the theory of Chondokyo's education we can have the view of five education. They are ①the education of life community, ②the narrative education of socialization in national, history, culture, and ③the education of critisizing history and of subjecthood, ④the education of establishing one's own standard, ⑤the education of universal community .
