A prospect of the national culture in an age of the Globalization

ABSTRACT

Globalization increases on the one hand the precariousness by the capital world-system, that has a new face, on the other a hope of a cooperative praxis of the human being. The world-system comes in view as an decisive element, that threatens to the identity of every nation-state. But what as the resistance against that threat is actually spread out is only such as the tradition-culture-movement for the strengthening of the national identity. On this point are questions necessary for a direction of this epoch: is the tradition at this time of the epochal change as usual the driving force, that can take the national identity?, and is the traditional culture effective as the counter-value against the present world-system? This paper will explore a way for the praxis toward the future of the human society through the reflection on the present tradition-culture-movement .
