Virtues Education of Fr. Yoo-Ryong Bang

ABSTRACT

We have to send forth the smell of virtue. Fr. Yoo Ryong Bang believes that blessings follow virtues, while calamities follow sins. A mind is clear without sin and the light appears when an evil desire is controlled. If we are unselfness, desireless and selfish, we can achieve unity Jesus. The point of a compass are east, west, south and north And the point of virtue are wisdom, justice, courage and temperance. The virtues are the express way of inside. Faith, hope and love are transcendental virtues. By which we believe in the Lord, hope of him and love of him. The three virtues of faith, hope and love are great, and the greatest of the three is the virtue of love. The commandment are an external silence on which internal silence exerts an influence. What is inside ourselves is bound to be disclosed outward. To those who practice internal silence, the external looks calm and everything is interesting. The more silence our soul observes, the brighter the light shines. Virtue education is important for religious education.
