The Understanding of Dialogue from the Viewpoint of Unification Thought

ABSTRACT

This article is an attempt to systematize a dialogue from the viewpoint of Unification Thought that is one of doctrine of Unification Church. With this foundation, I try to arrange the dialogue of Shimjung that is the core of the attributes of God. According to the Unification Thought, human is a beings to make the relationship with mutual understanding through dialogue between not only the inside itself but also among others. Human is a beings of dialogue to exist through the correlative relationship. The shimjung is the feeling’s impulse to do for the good. The Shinjung is understanded the main character and a creation motive of God. The shimjung, also, is a motive of life and a future oriented goal of life. According to the Unification Thought, the ideal human beings is the beings of Shimjung. The existence structure of human of the Shimjung have an effect on the Dialogue’s structure and the dialogue s method. human pursue a dialogue to restore the relationship of Shimjung According to the Unification Thought, human have a dialogue’s structure of inner and outer because he not only possesses the correlative elements of subject and object within itself but also engages in external correlative relationships with other beings. This dialogue have two type of dialogue to sympathize or to communicate with a person and to construct a new creative things. This dialogue has a three steps, that is, first step is to set up a motive and a purpose, Second step is to have a correlative relationship, third step is to construct a union or a created being. The dialogue of Shimjung is a dialogue that has a motive or a purpose of Shimjung of a core of the attributes of God. The dialogue of Shimjung has a dialogue for consensus of Shinjung and a dialogue for practice of Shimjung. The dialogue s method of Shimjung is a method to present how can effect of dialogue with Shimjung. That is, first of all, a internalization of Shimjung of internal itself dialogue, and a harmonization of Shimjung with a dialogue of external others, and a way of life of Shimjung.
