The Present Condition and Assignment of the Program for the Pursuit of Mind in Daesoon-Jinrihoi

ABSTRACT

A pursuit of mind is not a concept to point out something special in practicing asceticism. The mind is not only aimed to approach self-examination but to be a concept having a practice. Therefore, the whole process for the achievement required by the religion is a pursuit of mind. This paper is for discussing the reality and assignment of the program for the pursuit of mind in Daesoon Jinri Hoi. It doesn t have any special program for the pursuit of mind for the public. All the things done as a purpose of the asceticism by the believers who have got a entrance ceremony for the religion are included into the program. In other words, praying, practicing religious principle, missionary work and educational work are the pursuit of mind the believers have to do. The first thing they have to do for a pursuit of mind is to understand the Daesoon Jinri Hoi correctly. It is for the religious achievement. So, to complete the religious achievement of Daesoon Jinri Hoi the pursuit of mind should be guided by the religious principle like Jeonkyung and Daesoon Jichim. The pursuit of mind should be based on the attitude to respect the human beings and God called Sangje because its purpose is to understand the real meaning of the religious principle called Haewonsangsaeng and inform it of all the people in the world.
