ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of toughness program based on 『Noble Eight-Fold Path(八正道)』 on the happiness of college students. The significance of enhancing the happiness of college students by providing the content of the character program as the main value of moral self-reflection and behavior practice of human beings, and the meaning of happiness of human being including college students, it is also meaningful to actually emphasize the realization of the realization in the world. To do this, the research subjects were students who took liberal arts courses of ‘Mercy and Happiness Travel’ at D University in K city. The study method was based on the quantitative statistical method of pre-test and post-test based on whether the program was applied to the subject and standardized happiness scale was used. As a result of the study, it was found that the subjects were effectively affected by life satisfaction, positive emotional increase, and negative emotional reduction through the tactile program based on 『Noble Eight-Fold Path(八正道)』. Overall, we discussed the prerequisites that can be considered functionally in terms of consistency between humanity programs based on 『Noble Eight-Fold Path(八正道)』 and human happiness.
