Understanding on Role for Peace of East Asia in Family Federation for World Peace and Unification(FFWPU)

ABSTRACT

Can Korea, Japan, and China make for East Asia peace and turning point for peaceful world order through past liquidation with mutual cooperation, respect and recognition between three nations centered on peace of Korean Peninsula? This study has focused to reply to question as above and to research on understanding and practical activities for peace of East Asia of Family Federation for World peace and unification. FFWPU is a newly risen religion based on christ church through tradition and integration of new religion in Korea. And it has been practiced for international solidarity for East Asia peace centered on peace of Korean Peninsula. Through various activities, FFWPU demonstrated the possibility that religion can provide values to promote peace beyond missionary purposes and provide diverse practices and human and physical resources such as education, civic. And FFWPYU has suggested role for solidarity as pivot to build for peaceful East Asia beyond crisis of new cold-war.
